More American than TV

Inevitably, when I tell people that I don't have a TV, they look at me like I've just told them that I killed my own mother. The next sure question is, "What do you do with all your free time?" That question always gets me. I look at them as if they are equally crazy and ask, "What free time?" Seriously, I have no idea how people have time to watch TV.

I agree with Adriana. I'd rather play free cell than watch TV. Although I do like watching the news while I'm on the treadmill in the morning. I guess I could try to read the newspaper instead... oh wait, I don't subscribe... what do i DO with all my free time?!

free-time? i think free time is called: i have three children, relief society presidency, full time job, mother to a diabetic, breast-feeding, cleaning, cooking, accounting, domesticating, researching, falling asleep on the couch time. TV? What's that?
