Herbal love

All my love is directed in the herbal direction this week. And the proud owner of that love? Tarragon, ladies and gents. Why is it that I am only now learning how amazing tarragon is? How it complements every dish? I think I have hoisted tarragon to the dizzying heights at which I hold Nutella. Even cardboard would taste good with tarragon. So, watch out if you happen to be supping with me in the upcoming weeks; you might get a little more tarragon than you can handle.

I feel the same way about peanut butter. And, to be honest, I have no idea what tarragon is.

I've just recently discovered marjoram, it's a nice subtle oregano-ish and good on lots of potato, veggie, types dishes. Oh, and cardamom too! it grows like dandelions here and delicious in drinks, spicy food, and chocolate.

I'm a big fan of the herb called sugar. Unfortunately, unlike tarragon, large quantities turn me into a BIGGER fan.

ps - I loved our trip to the DR and thought of you often! I would so love to go there for non-touristy purposes. Lots of unmet needs - a public health playground. I did a [ridiculously long] post about our adventures that you might appreciate.
